Prior to founding DFA, Tom was Partner at the US$3B hedge fund, Cube Capital, where he was responsible for its Asian Liquid and Special Opportunities portfolio. He was also a Senior Investment Manager at Income Partners. Tom started his career at JP Morgan & Co in New York.

Together with Tom, Alex founded DFA in 2014. Based in Asia since 2004, he was Portfolio Manager for Asia Frontier Markets at Cube Capital in Hong Kong. Prior to that, Alex honed his real estate investment skills with Calyon CIB & Savills Vietnam. He has Master’s Degree in Corporate & Investment Banking and Accounting and Financial Analysis from ESSCA (Ecole Superieure des Sciences Commerciales d’Angers), France.

Sharon was the Financial Controller and Compliance Officer of Cube Capital. Prior to that, she was the Financial Controller of the China World Group. Her areas of expertise include investment valuation, accounting, financial control and regulatory compliance. She has a Bachelor’s in Accountancy and Finance from the University of South Australia and Postgraduate Diploma in Corporate Compliance from the Hong Kong University Space.

Prior to joining DFA, Jenian was a Senior Investment Analyst at Navis Capital Partners. She was also an Assistant Portfolio Manager at Mordril Investment, an Associate Director at Cube Capital, Risk Analyst for Temujin Global Asset Management and Trade Officer at the Royal Bank of Canada. She is a CFA charterholder, FRM charterholder, and holds a Bachelor’s in Finance from the City University of Hong Kong. She is currently completing her research degree on Quantitative Finance at the University of Hong Kong.

Piers manages the end- to – end investment process in Myanmar. He was a Frontier Markets Analyst for ADM Capital prior to joining DFA. He has a Master’s in Civil & Environmental Engineering from the Imperial College, London and has worked in sustainable investments, clean energy, and sustainable development.

Thuy manages DFA's portfolio in Vietnam. Previously, she was the Country Representative and Business Developer for Source of Asia's Myanmar office. Thuy graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration – Major in International Business Management from the Foreign Trade University, Vietnam. She speaks English, French, and Vietnamese.

Xan joined DFA in 2015 having previously worked in Hong Kong, he initially moved to Vietnam with DFA and is now based in Bangkok. He covers all aspects of both Private Debt and Private Equity transactions across the DFA geographic regions, working closely with Development Banks, Investors, Investee companies and sourcing new deals.

He graduated with an MA in History from Edinburgh University and has passed Level I, II & III CFA Exams.

Enkhtur has a BS Applied Mathematics and Economics from Brown University and Master’s degree in Management from the University of Cambridge. Prior to joining DFA, he was an Investment Analyst with the Newcom Group covering Newcom's real estate portfolios and renewable energy JV projects with SB Energy of SoftBank Group.

Henry has been part of DFA since 2016. During his time with DFA, he has been involved in real estate, private equity, and private debt transactions from Vietnam to Mongolia, in addition to deal sourcing in other regions. In university, he was on the Finance Committee that managed and appropriated a US$ 150,000 annual budget for the student government. He is currently completing his Bachelor of Commerce in Finance (expected 2019-20) at the John Molson School of Business of Concordia University, Canada. He was an A*STAR Scholar from the Raffles Institution, Singapore.

Isa covers all aspects of the Philippine market. For two years, she was a Relationship Manager for a Hong Kong- based charity. She was also Business Development Manager for one of the biggest Rural Banks in the Philippines. Before moving to Hong Kong, she received a full tuition scholarship to take up her MBA at the Washington SyCip Graduate School of Business at the Asian Institute of Management in the Philippines. She has a Certificate in Sustainable Microenterprise & Development, from the University of New Hampshire and a Bachelor’s in Business from the Centre for International Education, Cebu.
